This is a new documentary by José Luis Ferraro (Buenos Aires) and Rika Fukuda (Japan). They have spent years with the last generation of milongueros in Buenos Aires and are well accepted in their circle. In this film they interviewed these milongueros at length. The milongueros talk passionately about their personal dance history, the live performances by the original orchestras like D’Arienzo and Pugliese, their views on the current development of tango, and much much more. Their humour, sincerity, and passion for tango is deeply moving. This film is an invaluable documentation of the history of tango. Don’t miss its Korean premiere at 2019 Seoul Tango Festival!
